Each of us have an important part to play and all of us are reliant upon one another making a full contribution towards generating a harmonious and efficient working environment for both staff and service users. Both ourselves and service users set out the policies and procedures, by which we have attained our present status and with which we will seek to pursue our commitment to maximise and develop the potential of all our staff which in turn will benefit our service users through productivity, report and being outcome focused.

We set up accommodation in the south of Birmingham in 1994, for people with mental health difficulties who needed accommodation and support in order to establish a more settled and safe way of life. Over the past 21 years our service has moved on a long way, with funding from Birmingham Supporting People we have been able to develop our service and the skills of all of our staff and service users. 2010 was an exciting year for us as we were fortunate enough to secure a contract to offer floating support in the community to clients suffering with mental health problems who require housing related support. Our aims are to promote independence and equality to all clients that take up our service offering a quality client led service. Personalised, to individual needs.
We have accommodation with mandatory support in Bournville, Kingsheath and Northfield.
We also offer floating support in the community to clients in their own homes. We have a team of well trained support workers to support clients with mental health problems that require our services in order for them to remain living independently in the community.
Our aims are to support service users to maintain their tenancies, build on their life skills, and promote independence and equality in a safe and secure environment.
The support we offer helps to prevent hospital admission, suicide, re-offending, homelessness and disengagement from services with proactive crisis intervention. We work alongside other agencies, teams and professionals (Social workers, CPNs, physiatrist, GP's, other support agencies ) to offer a complete package of support to our service users. Since 1994 we have had great success; we have helped to bring stability to our service users lives, helping them move forward into a move positive way of life. Not only do we work to support them they also give back with helping develop our policy's and procedures. We also have a service user group which publish a quarterly newsletter on all matters that they feel are of importance. We feel Inclusion is vital for a healthy and forward moving business that is striving for best practice to both service users and staff. We have recently received an excellent acknowledgement for service user involvement from Birmingham city council.
